10 Years of Devil to Pay!

Today marks 10 years since the first Devil to Pay rehearsal in a garage in Rocky Ripple. Currently, we are in the planning stages of a 10 year anniversary show as well as finishing up songs for the new album. We wanted to take an opportunity to thank all our families, friends and fans, as well as old bandmates and bands we’ve been lucky enough to share a stage with. Here’s to 10 more years!

Devil to Pay contributes a track to Indiana State Fair Stage Collapse Project

Devil to Pay is glad to be a part of this project, this Zip Album contains 48 tracks- (2.9 hours of music!) that were contributed by National and Regional Artists and Bands to raise money for victims of the Stage Collapse that happened before the Sugarland show at the Indiana State Fair 2011.

Devil to Pay
Not strictly a metal band, Devil to Pay stands at the intersection of Sabbath-style metal, classic rock and post-grunge, with an attentiveness to melody and song structure that sets them apart from other riff-based bands. Not that you didn’t already know that – Devil to Pay is a regular winner in this category, and the band’s lead singer and vocalist, Steve Janiak, is pretty close to a rock star on the local scene. The somewhat-recent addition of Rob Hough on guitar has solidified the band’s lineup, and one wonders if we’ll hear a follow-up to 2009’s Heavily Ever After in the near future.

Benefit for Meghan May announced!

Devil to Pay has been added to an upcoming benefit show for our friend Meghan May, who is battling cancer. The show will be at the Melody Inn on Monday, June 27th, and DTP will play first at 7pm. Also on the bill are Eastside Larry and Sour Mash. Please consider coming out and supporting a friend in need.
