This weekend The Nancy School celebrated the release of their new CD "Paideia", and on Saturday night they held an all ages CD release party at The Emerson. Devil to Pay and Archer Avenue also used this event to promote new CD's, along with Green H2O and Sonus Ventorium who showed up to help.
Devil to Pay is a band that I've been very curious about, and it seems that I always miss them every time they play. Being the Battle of the Band winners for this year, I had assumed that they probably rock, and I've heard nothing but praise and good things about their performance and musical ability. Those things were definitely affirmed the moment they took the stage. They were also among the bands releasing CD's on Saturday night. The new album is titled "Thirty Pieces of Silver."
